G-21

G-21 is a highly effective plant growth regulator formulated with Paclobutrazol 23% SC. It is widely used in mango cultivation to enhance flowering and fruiting by inhibiting gibberellin synthesis. By reducing excessive vegetative growth, G-21 ensures that nutrients are redirected towards reproductive development, resulting in increased yield potential. It plays a significant role in balancing foliage and fruit growth, ultimately improving fruit size, color, and overall quality.

Usage

Drench Method: Mix the required dosage of G-21 with 0.5 – 2 liters of water and apply around the base of the tree trunk. The recommended dosage is 8 ml per tree below 10 years of age and 16 ml for trees above 10 years.
Soil Drench Method: Dilute the recommended quantity of G-21 in 10 liters of clean water and apply it in a furrow about 5 cm deep, 2-3 feet away from the tree trunk. After application, fill the furrow with soil.
Foliar Spray Application: For treating new flowering, apply a 1000 – 2000 ppm solution of G-21 after sunset to promote early flowering and enhanced fruit maturity.
